Duties of Editors

  1. Fair Play and Editorial Independence
    Editors evaluate submitted manuscripts solely on their academic merit, including importance, originality, validity, and clarity, ensuring that the evaluation process remains unbiased. Decisions regarding the publication of articles will not be influenced by the authors' personal characteristics or external pressures.

  2. Confidentiality
    All information related to submitted manuscripts will be treated as confidential and disclosed only to relevant parties, such as the corresponding author and reviewers.

  3. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
    Editors must not use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts for their own research without authors' explicit consent. If any conflicts of interest arise, editors will recuse themselves from the review process.

  4. Publication Decisions
    All submitted manuscripts will undergo peer review by at least two qualified reviewers. The Editor-in-Chief has the final say on publication decisions, based on the manuscript's validation, importance, and legal compliance.

  5. Involvement in Investigations
    Editors will take appropriate actions in response to any ethical concerns raised regarding submitted or published works. Allegations of misconduct will be investigated thoroughly.

Duties of Reviewers

  1. Contribution to Editorial Decisions
    Reviewers play a vital role in assisting editors with publication decisions and improving the quality of manuscripts through constructive feedback.

  2. Promptness
    Reviewers who feel unqualified or unable to provide timely feedback should decline the invitation promptly.

  3. Confidentiality
    All manuscripts received for review are confidential and should not be shared without proper authorization from the Editor-in-Chief.

  4. Standards of Objectivity
    Reviews must be fair, objective, and clearly articulated to help authors enhance their work.

  5. Acknowledgment of Sources
    Reviewers should identify any relevant work not cited by authors and report substantial similarities with other works.

  6. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
    Reviewers must declare any potential conflicts of interest and refrain from using unpublished material for personal research.

Duties of Authors

  1. Reporting Standards
    Authors should present a truthful account of their work and discuss its significance objectively. Review articles must be comprehensive, and opinion pieces clearly identified.

  2. Data Access and Retention
    Authors should make raw data available upon request and ensure its accessibility for at least ten years.

  3. Originality and Plagiarism
    All submissions must be original, properly citing others' work. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.

  4. Multiple Submissions
    Authors should not submit manuscripts concurrently to more than one journal. Any prior publications must be disclosed.

  5. Authorship Criteria
    Only individuals meeting specific criteria should be listed as authors. Contributions of those not meeting these criteria should be acknowledged separately.

  6. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
    Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest upon submission.

  7. Acknowledgment of Sources
    Proper acknowledgment of others' contributions is mandatory, including the citation of influential works.

  8. Hazards and Subjects
    Authors must disclose any unusual hazards associated with their work and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines concerning human or animal subjects.

  9. Peer Review Participation
    Authors must engage in the peer review process and address reviewer comments systematically.

  10. Correction of Errors
    Authors are obligated to notify the journal of any significant errors in published work and cooperate in correcting or retracting the article if necessary.

Duties of the Publisher

  1. Handling Unethical Publishing Behavior
    The publisher will work with editors to address any allegations of misconduct and take appropriate corrective actions, including the publication of errata or retractions as needed.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

A conflict of interest may arise when authors, reviewers, or editors have financial, commercial, or professional relationships that could influence their research. Authors must disclose any potential conflicts upon submission. A sample disclosure statement is provided below:

Conflict of Interest Statement: In accordance with the ethical obligations of my research, I disclose that I [have a financial interest in] [am a consultant to] [receive funding from] (delete as appropriate) a company that may be affected by the research reported in this manuscript. I have disclosed these interests fully and have established an approved plan to manage any potential conflicts.
